Room to gather, dine and celebrate.
A wedding at Richard’s Ranch takes place across the whole property. The day begins in the bridal suite, and ceremonies are held outside in the orchard or the vineyard. Dinner is served inside the barn, and the evening ends on the patio with dancing under the Edison bulbs. Everything is within a short walk, and the day is entirely your own.
Packages and pricing
- A $3,500 retainer secures your date.
- Pricing is based on your guest count and date, so send both with your inquiry and we’ll reply with numbers before you tour.
- Weekday weddings (Sunday through Thursday) are discounted.
- Summer and winter dates are discounted.
- Payments are spread across the lead-up to your wedding, typically every three to six months, and the balance is due 30 days before the event.
- Taxes and fees are kept to a minimum and itemised in your contract.

Tell us your event type, preferred date or date range, and estimated guest count.

We send pricing based on your guest count and date.

Tour.
Come walk the property with us. Tours are private and scheduled for you alone.

Review and sign.
We send the contract; you review it with us and sign when you’re ready.
- 5.
Secure your date.
Your $3,500 retainer takes the date off the calendar.
Thirty days before your wedding we’ll check in to collect your final details and go over security and arrival arrangements.
Tours
Tours are private, one couple at a time, and arranged by request around your schedule rather than on fixed days. Plan on about an hour with us on the property. There is no contract or fee for a tour. If you need to reschedule, just let us know as early as you can.
Private and corporate events
The barn and grounds host more than weddings. We welcome company dinners and retreats, holiday parties, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, fundraisers, celebrations of life, and family reunions.
Everything that comes with a wedding booking — the tables, the bar and bartender, the day-before setup window, the private parking — comes with a private event too. Send us your date, guest count and the kind of event you’re planning and we’ll reply with pricing.
House rules
- Music ends at 10:00 pm.
- Guests depart by 10:30 pm. Your vendors have until 11:00 pm to load out.
- The bar is open-bar friendly, with two limits: no shots at any point, and hard liquor is served until dinner only. Beer and wine continue through the evening.
- Sparklers are welcome for your send-off. Fireworks are not permitted.
- No open flames. Flameless candles are welcome; wick candles are not.
- The ranch is a non-smoking property. There is a designated smoking area for guests who need it.
- You are welcome to bring your own vendors, or choose from our preferred list.
